Plymouth The city of Plymouth has historically connections with the navy and warships can often be seen in Plymouth sound. The Barbican is the oldest part of Plymouth and still has cobbled streets and shops that reflect its maritime history. It has a good shopping centre and easy access to the Hoe where Sir Francis Drake was informed of the invading Armada. |
